About the Role

Under direct supervision, supports a project or phase of a moderate complexity project or program.

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

· Track and visualize the progress of project deliverables, key performance indicators and quantify any variances

· Assist in project planning, organization, and scheduling of meetings

· Review and validate the completeness and quality of project deliverables

· Compile and complete documentation and according approval

· Implement assigned project actions and deliverables efficiently

· Execute the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals

· Coordinate with team for work assignment and clarification as needed

· Identify issues in a timely fashion that arise during project execution

· Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables

· Other duties as assigned

Education / Work Experience:

· BA or BS (emphasis in management or related discipline preferred) or equivalent

· 6 months' demonstrated project management experience in at least one discipline (Finance, Procurement, IS, R&D, Operations, etc.) preferred

Knowledge / Competencies:

· Passion to meet project goals and multiple objectives to improve project results

· Demonstrated experience in collaborating with and assisting project/department team members

· Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills

· Excellent autonomous organization skills

· Must be able to complete detailed documentation accurately

· Ability to generate and explain detailed schedules

· Demonstrated problem-solving and work prioritization skills

· Familiar with project management tools such as Project Portfolio Management system, MS Office, SharePoint, or Visio
